Glenn Bongard
Author
Glenn Bongard works for the Michigan Department of Corrections, where he is a principal for two state prisons in Michigan after teaching for 21 years in corrections and 6 years in high school and adult education for public and private school sectors. Glenn earned a BA in History, a teaching certificate, and an MPA with a concentration in School Principalship from the University of Michigan.
Glenn has been a youth volunteer at his local church and has coached both boys and girls high school basketball. He has lived in Millington, Michigan, for more than twenty-two years and has been married to his wife Doreen since June 2, 1990. They reared three children Rachel, Joseph, and Philip. They have a son-in-law Logan and three grandchildren Garrick, Hensley, and Emmerich. Glenn and Doreen lost their youngest son, Philip, in March of 2020.
Glenn is a preacher’s son and grew up in a small village, Morley, Michigan. He has a virtual prayer team that he sends an email prayer to daily. He and his team pray over the ministerial teams of the churches that are in the East Michigan Free Methodist Conference as well as other churches, pastors, and people who submit prayer requests.
