Heavenly Father I praise You today, for Your all-consuming love for us. I praise You for desiring to have a relationship even though You know our innermost thoughts. I praise You for Your creation and the beauty, and intricate design to the molecular level. I praise You for helping us to live within time while You are outside of time. I praise You for interacting with a creation that can barely even comprehend who You are, how magnificent You are, and how far above us in all things You are.
Holy Spirit, I also send praise to Jesus Christ, the one who gave up his position in God's head to come to earth as a baby, in a poor time in Israel’s history. He grew up, avoided sin, and taught us a way to live that all of us who are followers are still trying to emulate. I praise You for the horrible way You were sacrificed and abandoned by all of mankind just so we could have the gift of salvation. I praise You for defeating death 3 days later to establish that death is not the ending of life for us. I praise You for the ascension to demonstrate that heaven is our final home if we accept salvation, follow Your Spirit, and grow in faith. I praise You for teaching us of a kingdom that can not be corrupted by countries, governments, or man’s politics.
Holy Spirit I praise You for being our connection to the throne room as the Hebrew writer told us. I praise You for being the Spirit of truth, and a comforter to us. I praise You for indwelling in our hearts and filling our temple with Your Spirit. I praise You for inspiring us to grow in faith, do good work, and help us to change our desires. I praise You for speaking into my life and teaching me wisdom. I praise You for leading me and trying so hard to help me make wise choices.
I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak His praises. I will boast only in the Lord; let all who are helpless take heart. Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness; let us exalt His name together. I pray to the Lord and He answers me. He frees me from all my fears. Those who look to Him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. I desperately prayed, and the Lord listened; He saved me from all my troubles. For the angel of the Lord is a guard; He surrounds and defends all who fear Him. Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in Him! Fear the Lord, you His godly people, for those who fear Him will have all they need. Even the strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing. Come, my children, and listen to me, and I will teach you to fear the Lord. Does anyone want to live a life that is long and prosperous? Then keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies! Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it. The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; His ears are open to their cries for help. But the Lord turns His face against those who do evil; He will erase their memory from the earth. The Lord hears His people when they call to Him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed. The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time. For the Lord protects the bones of the righteous; not one of them is broken! Calamity will surely destroy the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be punished. But the Lord will redeem those who hate the righteous will be punished. But the Lord will redeem those who serve Him. No one who takes refuge in Him will be condemned. In the name of the Son, the Father, and the Holy Spirit, Amen. [Psalm 34]
