Heavenly Father I praise You for sending us the Holy Spirit and for showing us that healing us physically, spiritually and mentally are all possible through Christ. The very first intention of Your creation was for us to whole, until we allowed sin into the world. Even though we live in a world that is broken and full of sin and sorrow You still hear our cries and You still are in the healing business. I admit I don’t always understand why some people are healed here on the earth and others have to wait until they get to heaven but I do know that You still heal people.
Holy Spirit Your word which James recorded says, “Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. [James 5:13-15] Make this your common practice: Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you can live together whole and healed. The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with. [James 5:16 (the Message)]”
Mark recorded for us: He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in a new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well. [Mark 16:15-18(NIV)]
John recorded Christ saying, It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are Spirit, and they are life.[ John 6:63] A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. [John 13:34&35] “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to my Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. [John 14:12-14] And I will pray to the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.” [John 14:16-17 NKJV]
Holy Spirit I bring Danielle, Kayla, James and many others I can’t name here who are suffering from cancer and other major health issues that You would heal them if it be in Your will, or to comfort them and inspire them while they live through this very difficult time in life. Show them Your mercy, love and power. I also ask for healing in the heart for those who have lost love ones to suicide or accidental deaths in the last few Years. I grieve with them and ask for Your presence to fill their lives because of how much hurt, pain and misunderstanding all of this causes.
Holy Spirit I know You spoke through Isaiah in the times of the old testament but these principles are still important to hold onto, God will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure. [Isaiah 33:6] He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. [Isaiah 40:29] But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. [Isaiah 40:31] So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. [Isaiah 41:10] See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before me. [Isaiah 49:16] For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. [Isaiah 55:8&9] Thank You for my mercy and grace, in Jesus’ name, amen.
