Being Molded Into the Right Vessel

Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things from Your law. The heavens declare Your glory, O God; the skies proclaim the work of Your hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens, You have pitched a tent for the sun, like a bridegroom coming forth from his pavilion, like a champion rejoicing to run his course. It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other nothing is hidden from its heat. The law of the Lord is perfect reviving the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the Lord are sure and altogether righteous. They are more precious than gold than much pure gold, they are sweeter than honey than honey from the comb. Your servant is warned by them; there is great reward in keeping them. Who can discern his errors? Forgive my hidden faults. Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then will I be blameless, innocent of great transgression? May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock, and my Redeemer. [Psalm 119:18; Psalms 19]

Holy Spirit I continue to seek to see Your wonders. I continue to desire Your wisdom and knowledge. I put forth the effort to understand what I should do as I offer myself up as a living sacrifice to be open to Your will. I am always looking to learn Your ways and to have a stronger discernment of Your will and what others' intentions are. I am a sinner saved by grace and mercy, but I live to serve You as an adopted child into Your kingdom. I need to be able to renew my mind daily with the assistance of Your Spirit. I continue to rid myself of all sin, hate, anger, malice, unforgiveness, spite, and selfishness. I am trying to bear good fruit and not thorns. I need Your direction, wisdom, and push to continue to walk in this direction and not fall into temptation or give up when tested. I cry out to You to help me become a living temple where You will dwell with and through me. Make me the vessel that will pour Your Spirit out onto others and be so committed to You that I do not hurt others but show them Your love.

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (Galatians 1:3-5)
