Heavenly Father I praise You for blessing me with a life that has a purpose and that I was uniquely made. I praise You for the free will to choose to have a relationship with You. I praise You for being my Creator, Savior, Comfort, and guide in life. I praise You for taking care of my needs and giving me hope.
Holy Spirit my faith rests on the fact that I believe within the core of who I am that You are God and that Your word is true. I align myself with what Paul wrote to the Roman church while being fully inspired by Your Spirit: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you accept and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew or Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, which is heard through Christ's word. [Romans 10:9-13; Romans 10:17] I have learned in life you can convince people sometimes with logic, and you can change opinions by living in front of people's truth, but what changes people the most is what is the foundation of what they believe and only Your Holy Spirit can expose that within them. I do not judge others for that is not why I am here. I am here to live for Christ, to live Christ, and to proclaim Christ. I offer wisdom on how to gain salvation from Christ and to awaken people to what they should know deep within them that we are not some random set of circumstances that miraculously came together to make us but that there is a God who set this whole thing into motion.
I am not here to teach or preach doctrine from men who are much more learned and wiser than me. I am a simple layman who has pushed his chips to the middle of the table and bet my life and how I live that I fully trust in God. Holy Spirit I seek You daily. I seek to take command of my mornings and my days. I seek to live as Christ has taught me to live by what He said, how he lived, and those who wrote the word by being inspired by You, the Holy Spirit. I claim no great theology, but I believe I was created by God, in his image, for a reason that I am to fulfill my purpose in life and that there is an eternity that awaits me with the actual life I was made to live. I put my trust in the word of God, the promptings of the Holy Spirit and if I am fortunate enough to meet messengers along the way sent by God, I will adhere to their instructions also.
The end of all things is near. Therefore, be clear-minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 4:7-11
