Continuing to Stand with Kayla for Healing

Heavenly Father, I praise You for today and for assisting me in keeping my A1C down so far this week. I praise You for watching over my family and listening to my petitions daily. I praise You for teaching me how to align my prayers with the wisdom and promises of Your word. Help me to take command of my morning and to shake the evil from it.

Holy Spirit I come to the throne room through You and I lay the petition of Healing for Kayla. She has struggled hard and has many things fighting her body and doctors have not been able to completely get a grasp on how to help her. I pray for the miracle of healing for her. Your word says: You’ve kept track of my every toss and turn through the sleepless nights, each tear entered in your ledger, each ache written in your book. Let those who suffer according to God’s will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good. I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. And this verse truly fits Kayla—My life drains out, as suffering seizes and grips me hard. Night gnaws at my bones; the pain never lets up. [Psalm 56:8, MSG; 1 Peter 4:19, ESV; Philippians 4:11-13, ESV; Job 30:16-17, MSG] Holy Spirit, I and those who pray with me, lift Kayla before You and we have faith in You to heal her. Your will and timing we will always relent to but we will continually and faithfully pray for her healing. We will be like the woman who continued to harass the judge until she got justice. We will continue to pray, stand with Kayla, and be faithful to continue to ask for this healing to make her testimony even greater of who You are and what You can do that man cannot.

Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. Make this your common practice: Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you can live together whole and healed. The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with. And all of God’s people cry Amen, Amen. [James 5:13-16, MEV; James 5:16 MSG]
