Heavenly Father I praise You for today, I may be sick and weak but I am still able to work, breathe, and live the life You made me for. I praise You for pain for how would we know something is wrong if we never felt pain. I praise You for standing by me when my world seems to be falling apart all around me.
Your word says, “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” “If you abide in Me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” [Hebrews 10:22-25; John 15:7] I will draw as close as I can and put my trust in You. And since I am learning Your heart, Your principles, and ways I will seek only to ask what I know with the Holy Spirit’s help to be within Your will or with in the wisdom of what You seek from me, Your creation. I will learn to help others grow as best as I can, especially when I go to church or when I am in the community with my brothers and sisters.
But, beloved, remember the words that were previously spoken by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. They said to you, “In the last days there will be scoffers who will walk after their own ungodly desires.” These are the men who cause divisions, sensual, devoid of the Spirit. But you, beloved, build yourselves up in your most holy faith. Pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in the love of God while you are waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, which leads to eternal life. On some have compassion, using discernment. And others save with fear while pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment stained by the flesh. Now to Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you blameless before the presence of His glory with rejoicing, to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen. Jude 17-24 (MEV)
