El Nose The God Who Forgives

Heavenly Father I praise You for being El Nose [the God Who forgives] for forgiveness is the whole way that we get to have a relationship with You. Without forgiveness we would, especially me, be separated from You because of our sins. Help me today to take command of my day so that I can shake the evil from it and serve You without hindrance.

Holy Spirit when Paul recounts his conversation that is recorded in the book of Acts. He gives the account of what Christ said to him as he was made blind: Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads….I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you. I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me. [Acts 26:14-18] You are the God who forgives or as in the Hebrew name given to You, El Nose. May I always give praise and understand enough to appreciate the forgiveness in my own life.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.” Thank You, Jesus. Amen. [John 3:16-21]
