Enjoying God's Wisdom

Heavenly Father I praise You for good fellowship this past weekend and seeing family I have not seen in a while. I praise You for the time I was able to spend with my children, grandchildren, and my wife. I praise You for allowing me to be involved with the worship team at church and for being a part of a team that prays over our pastor on Sunday Morning.

Holy Spirit I come to You this morning and ask for wisdom. I ask as James instructed us to ask, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men liberally and without criticism, and it will given to him.” [James 1:5] I seek to know, discern, and grow in wisdom so that I can do a better job in how I live, speak, and demonstrate love to others. I don’t seek worldly wisdom where it is all about my gain and selfishness, rather I seek Godly wisdom so that I can serve and demonstrate love to all I come in contact with.

Holy Spirit guide me this week and help me to be a worthy laborer for You. Help me to live Your principles and to listen to Your voice. Help me prepare to do things that are not in my comfort zone and to do them to the best of my abilities. Help me to get prepared for the upcoming Facebook live interview and then the podcast for Abundant TV. Let this event be a door opening for more people to become aware of the prayer ministry I do and to find help in praying scriptures along with me until they can do them on their own.

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.
