Heavenly Father I praise You for having inspired people who write wisdom for us to learn like the book Crazy Faith. Wisdom is so important to growth and I appreciate all the formats that You have provided for our growth. I praise You for opening my eyes to scripture in new ways so that I can continue my walk with more energy and excitement. I praise You for opportunities to pray and get into Your word and to send out prayers for others to unite with me to see You move in mighty ways.
Holy Spirit I ask for faith like the four men who carried a man who was paralyzed to the place where Jesus was in a house. These men had enough faith that Jesus could heal this man that they carried him to the house, seen the large crowd, and they found materials to climb to the roof, cut a hole in the roof, and then have materials to lower this man down on his mat in front of Jesus. Their names are not recorded but their faith was told in the Gospels. They not only had faith but determination to get this man before God. Your word does not even tell us if he was there friend. Their faith in the healing love of Jesus was greater than their reputation, time, money and personal ambitions. Help me to have a faith that will take others to Christ and help them be healed from sin and whatever other hurt they have. Help me to not be worried about my reputation, my time or my personal agenda. Let me believe so strongly in the power of Jesus and His salvation that I allow Your Spirit to motivate me to do this.
I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus, that you were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you, so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. [Mark 2:15; Luke 5:17-26; 1Corinthians 1:4-9]
