Heavenly Father, I praise you that we are not bound by history when we have salvation. I praise you for helping us to learn to live life correctly, That as a nation and as a people we decided to end slavery and to then learn later how make laws to make us treat everyone equally. Funny, you see all of us equally, different but equal. Romans 3:23-26—for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished—he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
Holy Spirit help me and those who pray with me, to remember that our freedom comes from accepting salvation and it does not make us better than anyone else it just makes us forgiven with the injection of Your Spirit into our lives to give us counsel, wisdom, discernment and guidance on how to live the life we were created for. Help us to present to the world around us the freedom and hope that is within us. Teach us to see everyone as a soul, not as people who may be different than us. Remember we serve a God who is light which in reality has all colors combined. We need to pray more for people than to hate or misunderstand.
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. (Amen) (Matthew 6:9-13)
