Heavenly Father I praise You for the times You force us to slow down. I praise You for this year that has been a year of seconds. I praise You for once again surviving cancer even with a 18 year span between. I praise You for getting my knee finished and fixed after four years with a partial. I praise You for a family who watches, helps and takes care of me. I praise You for moving forward in life.
Holy Spirit help me as my kneel heals and I have to go back to work next week that I will recover enough to do what I need to do. Help me to continue to pray over all the pastors and people who rely on me and my prayer team to pray for them. I ask for healing for Kayla and all the health issues she has to take on. I pray for Trinity who is in the fight of her life with her transplant heart. I pray for Jeff, Mark, Brad all who are looking for pastor positions right now. Take care of them and their families right now. Put a hedge of protection around them and give them a new vision and a new hope of what is going to come in their lives. Help them to start living in Your grace and Holy Spirit while they must wait in the wilderness like Moses and Joshua.
Holy Spirit help me and these Men remember Your words, “Luke 12:22-31—Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest? Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith! And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such things, and Your Father knows that you need them. But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.” Help Mark, Jeff, Brad and me to rest in the fact that You have not forgotten us and that we need to seek You daily and place our cares on You no matter what.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer.
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen. (2Corinthians 1:3-7) (Galatians 1:3-5)
