Heavenly Father I praise You for today. I praise You for helping me accomplish much-needed work yesterday. I praise You for helping me take command of my morning and shaking the evil out of it. I praise You for Your Holy Spirit helping center me when my day gets out of whack or out of control.
Holy Spirit I need help today to demonstrate patience and grace. Help me to find ways to lead my team and get them to be successful. Help me to find the right way to communicate with them so they know what is expected and required of them. Help me to not be overbearing but to be strong and steady enough that they will take into account the seriousness of what needs to be done. Let my words and the attitude I place with my words be honorable and just before You and them. Let me be focused and discern how the information is being handled.
All through Your word You have told us to stand, watch, and testify to Your love and salvation. Help me to stand and observe and then know how to proceed through the day so that work can be done without me tarnishing Your reputation.
Holy Spirit help me to walk circumspectly, not as a fool but as the wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. I need the wisdom to understand what the will of the Lord is so that I can do it. I will be strong in the Lord and His mighty power. Amen. [Ephesians 5: 15-17; Ephesians 6:10]
