Great and Incomprehensible Things

Heavenly Father I praise You for always teaching me and helping me to not only grow but to use wisdom to be a light to where I am to walk. I praise You for taking control of the morning each day and setting our day up so we can give You glory. I praise You for the fact that I was created with a purpose and was given unique abilities to fulfill my purpose.

Holy Spirit Your word says: The Lord who made the earth, the Lord who forms it to establish it, the Lord is His name, says this: Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and incomprehensible things you do not know. And Christ told us: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to my Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. [Jeremiah 33:2&3; John 14:12-14] I seek and call on You so that can answer me and tell me great and incomprehensible things while I do greater works because I allow Your Spirit to guide me in what I say, think, and do. Help me to fulfill my purpose and to use my talents wisely. Help me to invest wisely in people so that You can reap the rewards from the investment. Help me to go out into the fields of life and harvest the souls that can be Your harvest.

I pray and ask that I may be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that I may walk worthy of You, fully pleasing, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of You; strengthened with all might, according to Your glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified me to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in the light. You have delivered me from the power of darkness and conveyed me into the kingdom of the Son of Your love, in whom I have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. You are the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by You, all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through You for You. And You are before all things, and in You, all things exist. And You are the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things You may have the preeminence. In Your blessed Son Jesus’ name, Amen. (Colossians 1:9-18)
