Heavenly Father I am grateful that in this life I am not alone. I praise You for being within me as a living temple and that Your Spirit guides, comforts, and leads me. I am sorry I do not always follow as I should or become independent in my attitude when I should be humble enough to demonstrate that I trust You with my life and how I should live.
Holy Spirit help me today to completely surrender and allow You to lead me, teach me, and push me to what I was created to be and how I am supposed to live. I want the benefit of living a life that is lived to the fullest it was and is intended to be by being in the very center of God’s will for my life. I want to witness the wonder, the signs, the miracles, the healings, the breath of life from You. I want to see not just in this physical world but in the Spiritual world like Elisha did. I want to feel, taste, hear, and breathe in Your Spirit so that I know I am truly alive and living within the space I was intended to inhabit. Help me not to take people, Your creations made in Your image for granted. Help me to learn to live and not cause others pain, but be an example of Your son and show mercy, grace, love, boldness, faith, and courage. Let my character or my fruit bear sustenance of life not evil and death. I know I will not always agree with everyone and will have to take a stand in life because of the God who lives in me. I know the world will hate me because they hated Jesus, but just like Him help me not to hate back. Help me to be better at forgiveness. I may not always trust people to do what is right or to let them continue to hurt me or the ones I care about, but I can forgive and not hate. I can move on in life and live above their ability to try to inflict pain upon me. Help me to rely on the strength of my faith to be like Joseph and not let what has been done to me lead me to hurt others but let it fuel me to help others live when trouble comes. Let me become bold enough to dream, strong enough to take mountains like Caleb, and to let Your Spirit move through me like it did the disciples and the early church. Help me to be a living witness to displaying or showing Your wonders to others so that they may have a chance to seek You.
But, beloved, remember the words that were previously spoken by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. They said to you, “In the last days there will be scoffers who will walk after their ungodly desires.” These are the men who cause divisions, sensual, devoid of the Spirit. But you, beloved, build yourselves up in your most holy faith. Pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in the love of God while you are waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, which leads to eternal life. Some have compassion, using discernment. Others save with fear while pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment stained by the flesh. Now to Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you blameless before the presence of His glory with rejoicing, to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen. Jude 17-24 (MEV)
