Honestly Praying for Others

Heavenly Father I praise You for not letting us be alone in this walk. I praise You for the men and women you have brought into my life who hold me up in prayer as I do for them. I praise You for those who check in now and then and then go to You on my behalf. I praise You for the family You have adopted me into.

Holy Spirit You inspired Ezekial to write his discussion with You that said: "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one. Therefore, I have poured out My indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath; and I have recompensed their deeds on their heads,” says the Lord God. [Ezekiel 22:30&31] Holy Spirit as long as I can breathe help me to be faithful to make a wall and stand in the gap for my country, my community, my church, my friends, and my family so that I can help save them from destruction. Help me to pray with sincerity, humility, with desperation as I come into Your throne room. Let me be clear, and concise and not ramble on when bringing my petition before you so that I can establish the request and prepare to listen if I need to help with the answer. Help me be honest when I say I will pray for them and follow through. I have often prayed through this format for them and sent them the prayer so they could see I did what I said. Other times they trust me to pray and I do my best to pray each day until they tell me the answer has come. I also lift people who need healing, whether physical or personal. I bring many children that need salvation that parents ask me to pray for also. Help me to be faithful to pray, claim Your promises or blessings, and be fervent in my praying.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. I thank my God always concerning the grace of God which was given to me by Christ Jesus, that I am enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in me, so that I come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm me to the end, that I may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom I am called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. [2 Corinthians 1:3-7; 1Corinthians 1:4-9]
