Heavenly Father I praise You for the changes in seasons in weather as well as in life. I praise You for my youth, for my time as a young adult and now as I have hit middle age. I praise You for each adventure I have been able to try in life and for my salvation at the age of 16. I praise You that I am still learning and growing and it keeps me from getting stuck. I praise You for helping me fight through depression even though I am not done fighting.
Holy Spirit what shall I say, if You are for me who can be against me? God did not spare His own son so that we could have salvation and be freed from the bonds of sin, so because of this who can condemn us? It is Christ who died for us and is risen, who is also at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for me. Who then can separate me from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation (like losing my son), or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake I am killed all day long; I am now counted as one of the sheep for the slaughter.” No, in all these things I am more than a conqueror through Him who loved me. For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, neither angels nor principalities nor powers, neither things present nor things to come, neither height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate me from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. [Romans 8:31-39]
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, Oh Lord, my strength and my redeemer. Direct my heart into Your love and into the patience of Christ. [Psa. 19:14; 2 Thess. 3:5]
