Heavenly Father I come before Your throne and offer praise and glory to You, my creator, savior, and sustenance to life. I praise You that through You I have the power to command my mornings which take control of my days. I praise You that I don’t have to try to know or understand Your thoughts, just learn Your heart. I praise You for the hope that You placed in my heart on the day I accepted the gift of salvation.
Holy Spirit the day I said yes to You coming into my heart, accepting Your forgiveness for my sins, and turning my life towards obedience and faith was the day You called me to be a representative of Your Kingdom. You called me to live my life as a living sacrifice to You. You called me to renew my mind so that I can remain obedient and focused on what is pure, what is holy and what is my purpose that You created me for. I do not know where I will walk today, but I know You walk with me. I do not know who I will encounter today but I will listen for Your Spirit to guide what I say and how I act. I do not know what trials I will face but I know I am not alone. Help me to be wise like Daniel, courageous like Caleb, bold like Peter, discerning like Paul, and Meek like Moses. Help me to search and move to be a person after Your heart like David. Help me to have the faith, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and discernment to be the person You desire me to be today so that I fulfill my purpose, my calling.
I pray and ask that I may be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that I may walk worthy of You, fully pleasing, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of You; strengthened with all might, according to Your glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified me to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in the light. You have delivered me from the power of darkness and conveyed me into the kingdom of the Son of Your love, in whom I have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. You are the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by You, all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through You for You. And You are before all things, and in You, all things exist. And You are the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things You may have the preeminence. In Your blessed Son Jesus’ name, Amen.
