Heavenly Father, I praise You for today and each day as I near the time when I will see You and live with You in full glory in eternity. I praise You for the time I have hear and to enjoy Your creation in its fullest. I praise You for being my shelter in the middle of a sinful, chaotic world that has moved so far from You that it is blind and lost. Help me today to take command of my morning and shake the evil from it. Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain! 1 Chronicles 4:9&10
Holy Spirit, as a living temple of Jesus, let me offer my life today as a living sacrifice on the alter of obedience, walking on Your wisdom, promptings, and growing in the understanding of who You are within me. Let me drink deeply from the river as I am firmly planted and stand like a tree grounded in Your word, absorbing Your light to give me the sustenance of life. Help me to weather storms, bending, adjusting but not breaking. Help me to renew my mind with testimonies, music, scriptures and joyful worship. Help me to keep my mind on You and what is righteous so I am not fooled, swayed or deceived by sin, evil, or Satan. Let the words I speak come from the well of my heart, filled with truth, grace, mercy, and love so that I share Your living water, Your breath (word) with those who are in my sphere of influence. I seek wisdom and discernment as I pray and stand in the gap for others, fully understanding that You created me with a purpose, You have led me on the path of Your plans and You shelter me in Your hands when I am most vulnerable. Let me live fully to the potential that is within me today so that all of me honors You. [Romans 12, Psalm 1, Proverb 3, John 7:37, James 1:5]
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good deed and word. But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. And we have confidence in the Lord concerning you, both that you do and will do the things we command you. Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen. [2 Thessalonians 2:16,17; 2 Thess. 3:3-5]
