Heavenly Father I praise You for reminding me that not all people I come in contact with know You. I also realize that part of my responsibility is to lead others to You. I praise You for trusting me enough and giving me the resources to have a website where I can help others to pray and for those who don’t know You to learn how to communicate with You.
I know from Paul’s writings that all scripture is inspire by You so it is God breathed to us through his chosen authors. I also know from Your apostle John, that You are light and there is no darkness in You. If we walk in the light as You are in the light, we have fellowship one with the another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1John 1:5-9) I also know and others should understand forgiveness does not mean I will not still have consequences here on the earth, it just means I am now a new person in Christ and I have now had my name written in the book of life.
Holy Spirit I also understand that forgiveness is just the first step in a new journey that we take as we learn to have a relationship with Christ through You, the Holy Spirit. Help me to teach others how to learn to pray and to listen to You as You speak to them, or prompt them, and to use the Word of God to help measure all things to know if what we are doing is right or wrong in our own lives. Help me to teach that salvation is personal, and specific so that we do not judge others about our own personal convictions in life. Help me to demonstrate beyond a doubt that Jesus is the truth, the way and the only way to salvation and to eternal life.
Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you. For we are confident that we have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live honorably. But I especially urge you to do this, ….Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen (Hebrews 13:14-21)
