Learning Family

Heavenly Father, I praise You for loving us when we are sick, healthy, or somewhere in between. Thank You for Your forgiveness and for creating us and this world we live in. Thank You for giving us memories to our experiences so that we do not forget the love that we see sometimes. I praise You for each experience I have had with my wife, and each of my children and grandchildren. They are all different yet they are all special and unique. I miss Philip and the talks we had, but I now appreciate the talks I have with Rachel and Joe. I enjoy getting to know Garrick, Hensley and Emmerich and their different likes and personalities.

Holy Spirit help me to always be reminded that my family is the best example to understanding Your family. Let me learn to demonstrate love to all the different brothers and sisters and to be a mentor the new Christians. Let me teach love and how to talk to You. Help me to stand on Your word and to communicate through it to You and to others. Teach me the wisdom needed to walk life the way You intended, not one so easily distracted by sin. Help me to grow in my faith and to discern how to communicate to a world that is rapidly going to hell. We decide our fate by the choices we make of whether to accept Your salvation or not.

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, my rock, my redeemer, my savior and my king. Let me come boldly before Your throne and petition what is right and worthy of serving You. [Psalm 19:14; Hebrews 4:16] In Your mighty and powerful name, Jesus, Amen.
