Learning Wisdom through Your Spirit

Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth! Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before Him, singing with joy. Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are His. We are His people, the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving; go into His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and His faithfulness continues to each generation. [Psalm 100]

Holy Spirit Your word says: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us by His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man, except the spirit of man which is in him? Likewise, no one knows the things of God, except the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit, which is of God, so that we might know the things freely given to us by God. These things also we proclaim, not in the words which man’s wisdom teaches, but what the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing things with the spiritual. [1 Corinthians 2:8b-13] Search my heart and help me to be discerning to the spiritual needs of those around me and to have the wisdom of what part I play in their lives. Help me to grow in my spirit to align with Your Spirit so that when I pray, when I give witness, when I teach I will be doing so from the wisdom You have provided and presented the way Your Spirit is teaching me.

I thank my God always concerning the grace of God which was given to me by Christ Jesus, that I am enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in me, so that I come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm me to the end, that I may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom I am called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. [1Corinthians 1:4-9]
