Little is Much

Heavenly Father the Psalmist says: You send rain on the mountains from Your heavenly home and fill the earth with the fruit of Your labor. You cause grass to grow for the livestock and plants for the people. You allow them to produce food from the earth—wine to make them glad, olive oil to soothe their skin, and bread to strengthen them. You made the moon to mark the seasons and the sun knows when to set. You send the darkness, and it becomes night when all the forest animals prowl about. O Lord, what a variety of things you have made! In wisdom, you have made them all. [Psalm 104: 13-15,19-20,24 NLT]

Holy Spirit I come today with a simple request, help our garden grow and be fruitful so that what we sow we can reap. Protect it from animals and insects and disease. Let us enjoy some of our labor. Help it to produce food for us to can, to enjoy, and to use through the winter. Help us to produce enough to bless others too. I know this is a small request but I have often heard little is much when God is in it so I am asking for Your blessing on this little garden of ours. I will stretch my faith in this little area of my life so that I build my faith muscles to trust You in the bigger areas.

Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain! So, just as God granted him what he requested. Please do the same for me, Amen 1Chronicles 4:9&10
