Living in Christ, Dead to the World

Heavenly Father I praise You for opening doors for me in life so that I can have the opportunity to serve You even more. I praise You for helping me be stretched and learn to use technology even more to reach more people. I praise You for the ministry of prayer You have allowed me to participate in and to train others.  

Holy Spirit Your word says: I am raised with Christ when I accepted salvation, so, I should desire those things above, where Christ sits at the right hand of God. I will set my affections on things above, not on things on earth. For I am dead to my sinful and natural self, my life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is my life, shall appear, then I also will appear with Him in glory. [Colossians 3:1-4] Help me to live each day seeking Your presence and glory. Help me to have only desires that come from You. Let my focus be completely on serving, worshipping, and seeking You and not on what this world has to offer. Let me live with hope, faith, and love, instead of death, being lost, and having no hope. Inspire within me to learn, understand, discern, and then fulfill Your will daily so that my relationship with You can grow.  

For this reason, I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches, he may strengthen me with power through His Spirit in my inner being, so that Christ may dwell in my heart through faith. And I pray that I, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that I may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all I ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within me, to Him be glory, Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21
