Heavenly Father I thank You always concerning the people I pray for and who pray with me, for the grace of God which was given to them and me by Christ Jesus, that we are enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, even as the testimony of Christ is confirmed in us, so that we come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm each of us to the end, that we may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom we were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.—1Corinthians 1:4-9
Holy Spirit help us today to seek Your will by being living sacrifices which are Your living temples for all to come near and know that You are God. Help us to be filled with the Holy Spirit when we speak so that we can say what You need said to others. Let Your Spirit convict those who need salvation and let us assist them in finding out how to talk to You and ask for that salvation through forgiveness. Help us to instruct them in Your wisdom and to teach them by our example how to live before all people so that all will know we are Yours.
Holy Spirit help us to pray with a faith that moves mountains, slays giants and turns the hearts of people to You. Help us to live a life as if today was the last and that we must give one last try to convince people of the hope that is within us. Help us to learn to become more and more like You shaking off the old person we use to be, selfish and sinful, and become humble, serving others and righteous. Help us to understand and know we are forgiven, not perfect. Help us not to be judgmental but to be people who demonstrate love, faith, and honesty towards all we come in contact with. Help us to live our life so that we can be an example in our homes to our helpmates and children.
For this reason, I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!
