Meeting the Challenge

Heavenly Father, I praise You for creating a desire to take on challenges within me. I praise You for instilling in me boldness and courage. I praise You for helping me to learn to have faith, trust, and confidence in Your overwhelming love for me and Your trust in me. Help me today to be faithful and wise in my choices.

Christ said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to my Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. And I will pray to the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled,

neither let it be afraid.” [John 14:12-14; John 14:16-17 NKJV; John 14:27]

Holy Spirit, help me to live my life to where I can accomplish more for Your kingdom since I have lived longer on this earth, especially as a believer and follower of Christ. Help me to be faithful to witness, pray, support, and live amongst all people so that many can see Jesus through me and allow Your Spirit to come into their lives through the gift of salvation. Help me to pray for healings, miracles, and anything that will glorify You and help build Your kingdom here on the earth. Let me encourage other believers to be accountable and trustworthy. Help me to use my talents wisely and truly invest them. Help me to be strong in my ministry and my testimony of who You are in my life.

I pray and ask that I may be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that I may walk worthy of the You, fully pleasing, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of You; strengthened with all might, according to Your glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving

thanks to the Father who has qualified me to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in the light. You have delivered me from the power of darkness and conveyed me into the kingdom of the Son of Your love, in whom I have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. You are the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by You all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through You for You. And You are before all things, and in You all things exist. And You are the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things You may have the preeminence. In Your blessed Son Jesus’ name, Amen. (Colossians 1:9-18)
