Heavenly Father I praise You today for the reality of how short life really is. I praise You for all the people I have met in my lifetime and all the rest that I am yet to meet. Help me to learn to be hospitable, gracious and kind to those I come in contact with so that I represent You in my life. Help me to constantly remind myself that I am a living a temple with You dwelling inside of me. I praise You each day for the ability to breathe, walk, talk, hear and eat. I praise You for the ability to pray, to have a fellowship with You, for the tests in life that build my faith and prepare me for heaven. I praise You that this is not my home, for that would be discouraging. I praise You that one day we will live the life You intended for us before the fall of man to sin. I praise You for helping me to learn to love, enjoy, laugh, cry, and take life as it comes. I praise You for the children I have and the ones that I can’t wait to meet in heaven. I praise You for allowing me to be married and for giving me a partner who makes me complete. Who pushes me to be more than I would be on my own.
Heavenly Father I continue to bring the six year old girl, Trinity before You, she now has a transplant but it take time for her body to fully integrate and accept this heart. We pray for her healing, we pray for a miracle, we pray for Your will in this and to witness Your love before this family. We pray in unity as a people across many states and different doctrines, but all as one body of Christ that Your Holy Spirit would intercede and give this little girl a miracle and life once again so that the world can witness the wonder and power of Your kingdom here on earth especially when Your people join in prayer with one voice. We also pray mercy for the family who lost someone that allowed this heart to be available. Bless them for this gift and help them in their grief. Let us pray for You to move on them with Your Spirit of Comfort and give them some peace in knowing they saved a life.
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen. 1Peter 5:6-11
