You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory, honor, and power; for You have created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created. [Revelation 4:11] I give You all the praise that can come from who I am. I will testify of Your love and all that You have done for me in my life. Today, help me take command of my morning and shake the evil from it.
Holy Spirit, I want to take this morning to just give praise. Your word says: To rejoice in the Lord always. Again, I will say, rejoice! I will do my best to let my gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. I will be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let my requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard my heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Now may the God of hope fill me with all joy and peace in believing, that I may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. [Philippians 4:4-7; Romans 15:13]
I thank my God always concerning the grace of God which was given to me by Christ Jesus, that I am enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in me, so that I come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm me to the end, that I may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
