Heavenly Father I have been praying faithfully for others since 2012 solidly and many years before even that. You have honored me by answering my prayers even if they were not answered how I desired. I praise You for the words that Isaiah wrote from You: For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, says the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. [Isaiah 55:8&9] I am so thankful this is true for I have such limited sight of what is around me, ahead of me, and what You need to allow happen. I praise You for being a God who seeks a relationship with us but is not easily moved by us so that Your Kingdom can rule even in this sinful world.
Holy Spirit You inspired Paul to write to Timothy: I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men. [1 Timothy 2:1] Help me as I pray intercession for the growth, faith, or in some circumstances the salvation of: Emmerson, Mike, Cade, Emma, Akierra, Maddilyn, Margaret, Dallas, Noah, Mariah, Amber, Olivia, Quinten, Gabe, Gavin, Asa, Naomi, Luke, Jack, Rueben, Wyatt, Joshua, Sophia, Aletha, Josh, Eva, Isabelle, Abigail, Brenna, Caleb, Amanda, Elizabeth, Matthew, Lilly, Timothy, Katie, Kayla, Paul, Zoe, Willow, Noah, Rachel, Doreen, and others I can’t remember today. Guide me to pray with Your will in mind and that You know way more than I do. Help me to be faithful to constantly pray over all of these so that I do not let Satan or sin prevail where I can stand in the gap and be one who willingly gives up my time and effort to be the prayer warrior You expect me to be. I will learn from Jesus’ prayer that he taught the disciples and say You will be done here on the earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
