Heavenly Father I praise You for teaching me the lesson of loving my neighbor. For teaching to sacrifice my life to serve others. I praise You for helping me to learn how to be a living sacrifice for You. I praise You that I was created for a purpose and that You work through me and others to make this world a better place with the light of hope.
Holy Spirit I bring the orphanage that Compassionate Life tries to help in Eswantini, (formally Swaziland), asking for mercy and healing as many of the children and workers have tested positive for COVID. I come to Your throne asking that You demonstrate Your power and love on the behalf of these people. Help them to get healthy and to become the light in their country. Help Compassionate Life have wisdom on how to best give them support. I ask for the sales of my books to increase so that all the profit which goes to Compassionate Life will assist in helping these children and workers. Above all let them know the hope of Your salvation.
Holy Spirit help us to not be anxious right now with all the news and chaos going around us. Help us to live our lives to the fullest and put our trust in You knowing full well we live in a sinful broken world and that this is not our final home. Help us to live like Paul from the Bible knowing that our lives here are but a vapor and that our real life will be in heaven later on. Help us to live with the truth in our hearts so that we have no fear. Help us to live, breathe and apply the wisdom of Christ and the Bible daily in how we live.
Holy Spirit we continue to pray for the people of Haiti and all the natural disasters they are facing and for the people in Afghanistan who are trying to survive with the removal of our troops and the collapse of their government. Holy Spirit demonstrate Your power over the evil that is trying to consume this country. Help leaders to step up that can save the people from the Taliban and other evil groups. Holy Spirit lead us in how we can send help or support for both Haiti and Afghanistan. Help us to be leaders in giving assistance and hope to these people as well as very needed aid.
For this reason, I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!
