Praying Salvation and Healing for Others

Heavenly Father I want to be like the men that brought the man who was paralyzed and lowered him through the roof to be in front of Jesus to heal him. Jesus saw their faith, then said to him, “Man, your sins are forgiven you…I say to you, rise, take up your bed, and go to your house. You seek faithfulness, it is the only way we can truly show honor to You, O Lord. I thank You daily for life, but my true demonstration of thankfulness is in how I live.

Holy Spirit I come in faith that You will listen to my prayers and speak to Jesus who talks to the Father. I seek to pray in faith for the salvation and healing of my loved ones and those I know who do not have a personal relationship with You. I pray that their eyes will be open, their hearts will be receptive, and that the world and its sin does not distract them. I pray that these people will learn to give up bitterness, pride, selfishness, and allow You to give them salvation, through Your grace and mercy. I will daily bring them as my petition for there is no greater gift for those I love and know than Your salvation. I am no theologian, but I know that in many places in the Bible, people found Jesus because of others’ faith.

Finally, brothers and sisters, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you. And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men, for not everyone has faith. But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one. We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things He commands. May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance….Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you. In Jesus’ name, amen. 2 Thessalonians 3:1-5, 16
