Heavenly Father I praise You even when the world around me seems to be in a constant state of chaos. I praise You because my trust and faith are in You alone. You, and You alone are worthy of praise. I Praise You and give You all glory and honor for being my shepherd, my hope, my salvation.
You say to us, “Do not remember the former things nor consider the things of old. See, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not be aware of it?” “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? ‘As it is written: For Your sake we are killed all day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.’ No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities nor powers, neither things present not things to come, neither height nor depth, nor any other created things, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. If my Message is obscure to anyone, it’s not because I am holding back in any way. No, it’s because these other people are looking or going the wrong way and refuse to give it serious attention. All they have eyes for is the fashionable god of darkness. They think he can give them what they want, and that they won’t have to bother believing a Truth they can’t see. They’re stone-blind to the dayspring brightness of the Message that shines with Christ, who gives us the best picture of God we’ll ever get. Remember, my Message is not about me, I am proclaiming Jesus Christ, the Master. All I am is a messenger, errand runner from Jesus to You. It started when God said, ‘Light up the darkness!’ and my life filled up with light as I saw and understood God in the face of Christ, all bright and beautiful…So I am not giving up. How could I! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on me, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without His unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for all of us. There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever. [Isaiah 43:18&19, Romans 8:35-39(MEV); 2 Corinthians 4:4-6 and 16-18]
I will trust, obey and stand firm in the knowledge that because of Your love, grace and mercy I am an adopted child of God. I have the privilege to come before Christ in the throne room to lay my petitions before Him and know that he will not only hear me but consider my petitions and then He will answer me within His will and His timing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
