Seeking Salvation for Love Ones

loved ones

Heavenly Father I give You praise for being a God who allows us to speak to You.  To ask questions, seek answers, to ask You why without fearing death.  I praise You for the example of Enoch who walked daily with You until he was no more.  Thank You for giving us Your word to learn by and that the people recorded in Your word were just as vulnerable, just as sinful, just as pitiful as we are yet through You many would rise up to be righteous.  I praise You for this hope.

Holy Spirit I come before You today with a humble heart weighed heavy with the pain of wanting to help someone who refuses help.  I can only bring them to You in prayer.  I ask that Your Spirit speaks to their heart and continues to pursue them.  I pray that to whatever depth they must fall to they will eventually look to You to rescue them.  I completely hand them over to Your will and ask that You help me let You do what You need to, to bring them into the family.  I ask that You help me to not meddle or get between them and what You are trying to do to get their attention.  Help me to live a life in front of them that will demonstrate humility, forgiveness and love.  Help me to only speak what You have for me to say and for me to not cause them any pain.

Holy Spirit help me to live my life one day at a time learning to be a living sacrifice for You.  Help me to keep this temple, clean, pure and fully devoted to You.  Let Your presence dwell in this temple and allow others to only see You in me.  Let my light so shine that the world will know that not only am I Yours, but that I serve You with a heart of gratitude and love.  Let me be the standard bearer to teaching people how to pray and to learn Your word.  Teach me how to reach the lost, the down trodden, the broken, the hurting so that they can learn of You and the hope that is within me.

Galatians 4:4-7—But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.  And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.  Galatians 5:5—For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.  Help me to not only embrace this message from You but to live it out for others to become sons and daughters of Yours.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
