Heavenly Father even though I may feel down or stepped on I give You praise for You forgive, love and lift me up. I praise You for being a small part of Your grand creation and that I was made with a purpose and given a hope that keeps me from giving up. I ask today that You take command of my morning and shake the evil from it.
Holy Spirit is hard for me to remember and hold onto what Paul wrote: For though I walk in the flesh, I do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of my warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. [2 Corinthians 10:3-5] Help me today to remember that I need to know in my heart that people are not my enemy and that I should not focus on them for I can not see their heart only God can. Help me to fight what is within my area of control and control my thoughts, tongue, anger and emotions. Help me to follow the prayer: Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain! Help me to honor You in my actions, my words and especially in my attitude. In Jesus’ name, amen. [1Chronicles 4:9&10]
