Standing Strong and Being Bold

Heavenly Father, I praise You today for all the grace and mercy You have demonstrated to me. I praise You for allowing me to witness the beauty of Your creation this weekend and to be able to spend time with my grandchildren, daughter, and son-in-law. I praise You for the opportunity to be a part of the worship team at church and for all you have done.

Holy Spirit I praise You for showing me that I can be strong even as my body slowly deteriorates and my muscles weaken. Your word says: Watch, stand fast in the faith, be bold like men, and be strong. [1 Corinthians 16:13 MEV] Help me stand, be bold, and be strong in Your strength. Let me continually live as a living sacrifice for You as I am one of Your living temples that allows Your Spirit to dwell within me and I can abide in You. Help me to continuously draw from You the ability to renew my mind and to take into captivity all thoughts and destroy all thoughts that may draw me away from You or create wrong desires within me. Let my well within my soul be Spirit-filled and led water, so what comes up out of me is honoring before You. Help me to Stand and live a life that is pleasing and honoring to you. Let my words be so that I do not sin, hurt, or cause pain. Let me be faithful in my prayers to lift others and support ministries and put a hedge of protection around my family while I also try to take command of my morning and make sure that the evil around me is shaken out.

And now, O Lord God, You are God, and Your words are true, and You have promised this goodness to Your servant. Now therefore, let it please You to bless the house of Your servant, that it may continue before You forever; for You, O Lord God, have spoken it, and with Your blessing let the house of Your servant be blessed “forever.” I have called upon You, for You will hear me, O God; incline Your ear to me, and hear my speech. Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in You from those who rise against them. Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me under the shadow of Your wings. Amen [2Samuel 7:28&29; Psalms 17:6-8]
