Heavenly Father I praise You for a good Mother’s day yesterday and I praise You for my mother, my wife and my daughter who continue the generations of motherhood. I praise You for the testimony of prayer I witnessed from my grandmothers also. I praise You for having a day to honor true heroes who do so much in life.
Holy Spirit I bring 5 month old Honesty before You. She needs Your mercy and Your healing. She was scheduled for life or death surgery last night and I have heard no updates as of yet. Watch over her mother Sequoia. Holy Spirit we join in unity to put hands of healing on this baby and pray Your will be done.
Holy Spirit I pray for all the churches and pastors and teams that I cover in prayer to take a moment, and just breathe in Your Spirit and listen quietly to Your voice. Let each of them to see the vision of what You desire for Your body to do next. Let us take time to evaluate what we have done and what we need to do now to build Your kingdom. Give us a spirit of unity to be a body that functions fluidly and smoothly with purpose and passion. Help Your body of believers be a power house of love and mercy and demonstrate to the world what is possible when we all walk in Your direction and breathe in Your Spirit daily to give us life and strength.
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Holy Spirit help us to bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances we may have against one another. Teach us to forgive as the Lord forgave us. And over all these virtues help us to put on love which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts, since as members of one body we are called to peace. Let us be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in us richly as we teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in our hearts to God. And whatever we do, whether in word or deed, help us to do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Amen. Colossians 3:12-17
