Our Father, which are in heaven, You are worthy of our praise. Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord from the heavens, Praise in the heights! Praise Him all His Angels; Praise Him, all His hosts! Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. The Lord is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made. The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those who hope in His mercy. [Psalms 148:1&2; Psalms 143:8; Psalms 145:13; Psalms 145:18; Psalm 147:11]
In view of God’s mercy, I offer my body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is my spiritual act of worship. I will not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of my mind. Then I will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer. [Romans 12:1&2; Romans 12:12] I will meditate on Your scriptures day and night and seek wisdom from Your Holy Spirit. I will not lean onto my own understanding but seek to do Your will and Your timing. I put my trust in You. My faith is being tested and I ask that You supply my strength and my joy so that I can be found worthy of the hope that lies within me. Let me stand and help me be patient as I go through the fire. Give me the boldness that Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego had when they were brought before the king and said no matter if they lived or died they knew their God was able to save them and if he did not they still served Him above all else.
Holy Spirit I will do my part to seek, pray and stand ready, I ask that You speak to me, fill me with Your presence and lead me to what I am to do in this life next so that all honor and glory can go to God. I am but a worm before God, yet a worm has purpose and I seek mine right now. Help me to take up my responsibilities of my family and lead them in prayer and faith that You can and will do what is best for us.
I will pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. In the sight of God, who gives life to everything, and of Christ Jesus, who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I charge you to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which God will bring about in his own time—God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen. 1Timothy 6:11-16
