When I am Frustrated

Heavenly Father I praise You for today. I praise You that You understand every day is not going to be perfect or even nice. I praise You for Your Holy Spirit to give us wisdom on how to navigate frustrating days, bad days, and days of testing.

Holy Spirit today has been and continues to be a frustrating day. Give me the wisdom to navigate and do my best to do nothing that will hurt or destroy my witness or tarnish how people see You through me. Help me to renew my mind today and tomorrow so that I can get out of being frustrated and back to the hope that tells me this is all temporary and someday I will live in eternity where I do not have a broken world, sin, frustrations from dealing with a world that often seems to be crazy and delusional. Help me to do my best to keep my focus on You and the hope of better being in front of me. Let me realize that You are in control but because of free will, sin, and a broken world life will not always be easy, consistent, or even make sense. Guide my words help me keep in check my emotions and let the fruits of my Spirit match Yours so that I demonstrate love, joy, faith, long-suffering, self-control, patience, humility, etc. Let me have the ability to take a moment and be reassured by You.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of suffering. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast. To him be the power forever and ever. Amen. 1Peter 5:6-11
