Heavenly Father hear my cry, listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to you. I call as my heart grows faint, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe. I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings. For you, God, have heard my vows; you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name. (Psa. 61:1-5)
Holy Spirit I praise You for Your word which leads us to wisdom and speaks to us who You are. I praise You for the reassurance You give us like: Isaiah 49:16—See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before me. Isaiah 41:10—So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Lamentations 2:19—Arise, cry out in the night, as the watches of the night begin; pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord. Lift up your hands to him for the lives of your children, who faint from hunger at the head of every street. Lamentation 3:24,26—“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!” It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.
Holy Spirit help my mind to understand fully the sacrifice that Christ did for us on the cross so that we could have salvation and help me to get wisdom from when he arose so that we could enjoy everlasting life. Teach me to walk in the path You lay before me and teach me to pray with conviction that You hear me and will answer within Your will so that change can happen and Your Kingdom grows. Teach the churches I pray for to pray with sincere and fervent hearts so that they can bring change to their communities. Teach me the true meaning of agape love and then let me teach it to those who will listen. Show the pastors I pray over strong visions and strong convictions of how to lead and feed Your sheep. Put a hedge of protection around them so that they do not succumb to the temptations of the accuser. Help them to stand with humility, integrity and boldness as they proclaim who You are. But you, man [or woman] of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. In the sight of God, who gives life to everything, and of Christ Jesus, who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I charge you to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which God will bring about in his own time—God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen. 1Timothy 6:11-16
